Ordina is the specialist knowledge provider that lays the foundation of its clients' future success by offering a coherent proposition of Consulting, IT and Outsourcing services.
Ordina offers meaningful solutions, made to order. Solutions that you see all around you. That impact the way in which citizens live and work. Solutions that form tomorrow's success for our clients.
Odina has been active in the Netherlands since 1973. First as a subsidiary of the French-based Ordina. From that name, the French roots can be deducted. The name was derived from the French word for computer: ordinateur. In 1983 SG2, a subsidiary of Société Génerale, acquired Ordina from the French holding company.
After a management buy-out, the Dutch activities were autonomised in 1985. In 1987 Ordina was listed on the stock exchange. The strategy since then has focussed on:
- quality above quantity
- investment in innovation
- making strategic choices
Since the listing in 1987, growth in the number of employees as well as revenue has constantly shown a steep upward curve. The active acquisition policy has resulted in Ordina's growth from a small systems provider employing 77 people to a knowledge supplier with over 4250 specialists in IT, Consulting and Outsourcing.
Ordina is one of the largest and most influential players in the Dutch and Belgian market.
